It is banded at the waist and then falls open and full from there to the floor

Below the waist the printed silk continues and falls to the floor in a cascade of green and navy banding

It was made under the creative design of both Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. This is one of their earlier collections after stepping into Mr Valentino's shoes and I love that they stayed true to the label's heritage by using a classic Valentino red for this dress. The dress is made from a red silk that has a slight sheen to it and is in the signature shade of red
