The handles have a wonderful hammered finish topped with applied flower and scroll decoration. The pattern is very similar to the Hardanger pattern made by Magnus Aase of Bergen. The back of the handles are engraved with a W monogram in a fancy script and the date 25 8 1928. The forks are hallmarked on the reverse with 830S for the silver purity and NM.
