but uneven length (varies from 21 to 24")

Back strap loomed, traditional 2 panel construction with rich red background (not sure if cotton or acrylic threads). The huipil's soft base material has the feel of what Mayan women often call "Aleman" and is most likely a soft rayon thread. It's been a long time since "Aleman" thread came from Germany, or is the cotton thread that many Mayan women believe
