It is a rare piece from a great American designer

It is remarkable in that it looks so sixties or seventies but the label and lining all point to an earlier dating

1950s Pink Floral Print Full Skirted Dress designer-chloe Exceptional strapless Givenchy Couture dressThis is a beautifully constructed and shockingly pretty late 1940s, early 1950s dress done in a brilliant and vivid pink color. The print is a washed bouquet of roses that blend romantically together over the vivid pink back drop. Bits of greenery add contrast and a pop of color. The skirt is backed with proper dressmakers paper so that the skirt has a bit of stiffening and holds its shape. I have styled it here over a light crinoline (not included)
