The black on the bottom really serves to draw the eye down and anchor the print perfectly

There is one tiny dot on the seam at the back near the waist

After that was done the fabric would be sent back to California where the dresses were made

This is created with that same smocking technique on the upper shoulders so that they look more fitted even though the combination of elastic and jersey feels very easy to wear

The straps of the inner dress are made of that same fabric as is the matching belt that cinches in the waist
