I love how he has left a ruffle of fabric on either side of the zipper at the back

The waist is set high and it hooks to close there with a zipper hidden in the folds under the seam

On the sleeves and over the top layer of the skirt the chenille makes little circles and these are scattered over the netting

down the front and on each sleeve

I know we often associate his work with very mod and short pieces but he also did many dramatic and long pieces like this. We have had a dress from the collection before this in the shop before and we were happy to find a version of this one that was photoed for Vogue that spring and a runway shot with close versions as well.
