You can barely open a Vogue or other fashion magazine from the years of her heyday without seeing several of her hats in them. She worked under renowned milliners Suzanne Talbot and Caroline Reboux in Paris before moving to America in 1924 where she worked until she could eventually open her own label. At the height of her career she owned a nine story building known as the House of Hats, on East
