Eject is an inflatable bladder located in the top pad of the helmet. In the event of an accident when the driver's head needs to be immobilized, the bladder can be inflated to lift the helmet off the drivers head. The chin straps must be undone before the bladder is deployed and Bell recommends only using Eject if the series the driver competes in has trained personnel who know how to
