The coins reverse depicts a female Procoptodon and joey set against a coloured background. The inscription PROCOPTODON and The Perth Mints P mintmark are also incorporated into the design. The coins obverse depicts the Ian Rank Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
