These shakers are gilded on the inside, but one of them has lost its luster with age. They are shaped like 20 gauge shotgun shells and were probably made in France by Cartier in the 1930's or 1940's. Sterling is stamped on the primers and they remain in good condition with some minor wear and soldering marks along the base. A great gentlemans set
