Bloodstone Ring | Antique Bloodstone Ring crane necklace The size 13Bloodstone, a dark green jasper with blood red flecks of hematite, was once used by magicians who believed it possessed the magical ability to make a person invisible. This dramatic ring (circa 1910 1920) features a deep green bloodstone cabochon with bold flecks of red. The bloodstone is set in an antique yellow gold mounting with a foliate design on the sides of the band. It is unmarked, but acid tests for 14k gold. The ring is currently a size 5.
