Positioning myself for sunrise I wait to the morning light to pick up more of this steam with the City of Denver in the background from just west of downtown

From my position in City Park I was able to position the setting sun at the Wells Fargo Building (Cash Register) and the mountains

On this visit to City Park I went to a familiar spot and zoomed into the city a little to capture the fresh grass of spring at the park on this spring day in Denver

Using the low light to my advantage I was able to use a slower shutter speed on my camera and capture the motion from the water in the image

I decided to add another dimension to the process and bring the readers of the blog as well as fans on Facebook into the project and have them vote for their favorite three images during the month of December

Waves along the Malecon Size:24"x36" Positioning myself for sunrise IOn my final day in Havana a small weather system moved into the city bringing up the wind as it passed through the city. Even with the wind I headed out to the Malecon and was treated to the waves crashing against the seawall. I watched in awe of the force of the waves but also used that time to see where the waves were breaking, with that knowledge I searched for an interesting foreground and pointed my camera. Within five minute this wave crashed
