If you have been to Juneau at all you know that it rains in this area of Alaska

I found a spot along near the sculpture and worked to compose my image to bring in parts of the city and also show the motion of the water with a little longer exposure giving this image

Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind

The main concert hall in Reykjavik is Harpa which was designed to resemble the landscape around Iceland

I found there is plenty of items which fall into this category but not just with the new construction happening at this time. This morning I noticed the light was mostly straight down the the numbered streets in the downtown area (if you are not familiar with downtown Denver they run on a SE NW direction).
