Triennes Saint Auguste Rouge 2022 and a touch of whiteTriennes 46 hectares of vineyards sit just miles from the Mediterranean in Southern France at an altitude of 1200 feet. Their organic rouge, made from 65% Syrah and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, is grown on lime and clay soils, harvested by hand and aged 12 months in seasoned French oak foudres. Notes of nutmeg, ripe black cherries, clove along with a hint of garrigue. Drinking beautifully now but can cellar for 15 years.
