Rules about how to wear jewelry were made by people who never had the audacity to wear it wrong. Amanda was born the night I asked myself: what if the chain didn't hang down, what if it connected something? What if instead of just decorating the ear, a piece could travel across it, link one point to another, turn the whole ear into a statement?
