Waiting and longing for the moment life comes back to the dormant vegetation

and the wind (not cold despite the exposed position and time of year) was high

This image is of a lovely collection of pine trees in a mainly deciduous woodland on the outskirts of Wakefield

Visiting the property I was drawn to the large specimen trees that grow through the lawn at the back of the house

I was commissioned by the National Trust team at Nostell Priory to create an image of the house and grounds to print at one of their evening craft events
