This is a small teardrop shaped pendant made from fordite from the Dearborn MI plant where the super duty line is made

The silver is antiqued (intentionally darkened) to bring out these details

This fordite type occurs as a result of painting bumper flairs for new vehicles

I made it entirely by hand using hand forged and formed recycled sterling silver. I added an abstract pattern to the silver band, bezel that holds the stone and base of the setting. I then antiqued the silver (intentionally darkened) to bring out the patterns in the texturing. This is a set size 7 ring. The stone is about 11 mm wide.
