It is made with heat and shock resistant material that is soft to the touch yet super strong. The transmitter simply slides in place and stays there. You can change the batteries of the transmitter with one hand. The beltclip is a nice swivel for an easy one handed attachment to belts and soft pants. It can also be slid in inside out for screen and button
