A tree near the State Capitol was full of color which feel onto the fresh snow and brought the contrast of the seasons into light

The end result is not only capturing a soft look of the mossy background at this waterfall but also an interesting feel to the water stream contrasting with the green in this image

As I waited for the sun to rise it was obvious people were still heading home after a long night

This allows you to see the different shades of color in the ice and also wonder how long it has been since some of the ice had pealed off of the iceberg

As the snow tapered off the foothills started to become visible in the distance

This is also true on the golf course, and on an early spring day I went to one of the more popular view of the city. For this image I decided to do something a little different and took the image as a vertical while also including the flag for the hole. The tall vertical of the flag worked well with two of the taller buildings in Denver
