Our Awning Tie Rod System lets you design your own brackets and tie rod assemblies for supporting awnings and cantilevered roofs

The VT4 plate is useful for connecting truss bottom chords to top chords where the bottom chord hangs from the top chord (as in collar ties/tie beams)

and two custom-length 1" rods that all thread together into one strong assembly

A 3/4" tie rod assembly with turnbuckle includes two #2

A 1" tie rod assembly with turnbuckle includes two #3 clevises

Column Corner Cap Steel:89 Our Awning Tie Rod SystemOur column corner caps are made from 3 16" A36 plate and are for connecting your posts to two horizontal beams at a 90 degree angle. These column caps are used when the main beam terminates with the intersecting beam and have to be ordered either in left hand or right hand orientation. See the picture for details.
