The Outlaw Blue After many years spent dreamingJanes original painting depicts a female outlaw on a rearing horse in an alien Mars like landscape. It pays homage to the Hollywood Western movies of the 1940s and 1950s where hardened men and women battled to survive in a hostile and lawless environment. Many of the outlaws in USA transitioned to lawman and sometimes back again and the line between right and wrong became very blurred. Jane is a well known Brisbane artist who has been finalist for
